A update from studio 11...

Things are going slowly but surely in studio 11. This week I took a research trip to London to check out various spaces and to see as much as possible whilst there (which is always exhausting). At the same time I was able to visit my friend's charity event to raise funds for juvenile diabetes. Although the exhibition finishes today, you can still support them by buying their limited edition calendar, The Naked Muse. "The exhibition brings together the work of 13 UK women photographers, inspired by 14 women poets, in celebration of the male muse".

I recently went to see, 'Ubiquitous Materials' at the Bracknell Gallery, South Hill Park, a joint exhibition by fellow Art Space Portsmouth artist and Trustee, Jeannie Driver and artist Christopher Lundie. This fabulous exhibition continues until 8th April 2012. Well worth a visit if you can.

I was really honoured to be asked to design the catalogue for this exhibition, it was lovely to make use of my old skills (a job that I did previously for 10 years to support my art practice), It has given me a new interest in design work, and I would now like to do more! The catalogue will soon be on sale online. I will post details very soon.

Here's another little peek inside the studio:

A peek inside the studio...

Although I have neglected my blog recently, I have been working very hard. Both in my studio and for Art Space. I will blog again soon - but in the meantime here's a little peek inside the studio.
